Accessibility standards and requirements

Accessibility toolbar
We have added an accessibility toolbar where you can –
- Increase or decrease the size of the writing (known as the font)

- Turn the website into high contrast or negative contrast

- Underline links in the text
- Change the type of writing (font)

We have embedded a language translation tool in the footer of every page. You can translate our information into 100+ languages.
All the documents that you can download from this website are written in English only. We have provided the same content as web pages so you can translate it into your chosen language.

Screen readers can be useful to enable blind and partially-sighted people to browse the internet and carry out other tasks using their device.

Our website is designed to be compliant with screen readers through meaningful sequencing, labeling of images and more.
Plain English
We write our information in plain English and avoid jargon. Where we do need to use tchnical or legal term, we clearly define the meaning of the word.
Our content is independently assessed against the Flesch reading ease score where all our content must have a score of 60 or higher (where possible).
